Sustainability at EDDAIR
Digital visibility instead of disposable print materials.
We do not believe in blanket promises. That is why we show our working openly.
What an eddy replaces
Our customers update their content digitally at least once a week — without printing, shipping or disposal.
Annualised:
- 52–150 poster changes per display per year that no longer need printing
- For DIN A1 (120 g/m²), that is 3–10 kg of paper per display per year
- With 98 installed eddy displays: up to 980 kg less paper per year
Industry studies confirm:
- Retail: digital signage saves 15–25% of POS printing costs (Pygmalios, 2026)
- Office context: annual paper savings of 20–30%
Long use instead of quick disposal
- Designed product lifespan: at least 5 years
- Major components individually replaceable: display panel, power supply, mainboard
- Repair instead of replacement, wherever technically sensible
- Take-back and recycling programme in place
Short routes
- Engineering: Munich
- Manufacturing: Istanbul — Made in Türkiye
- Delivery route Türkiye → DACH: short, consolidated, no overseas transport
- Shipment bundled, not piecemeal
Power consumption — communicated openly
We do not hide energy use. Our displays typically run for 12–14 hours per day.
We provide verified consumption figures for our current models on request — a complete energy datasheet will be published with the next product update.
Request consumption figuresHow we calculate
- A1 poster weight: 60 g (120 g/m², 0.5 m² area)
- Replacement cycle: from real customer profiles (at least 1× per week)
- Installed base: 98 displays (2026)
- Lifetime: empirical value from devices in use (at least 5 years)
If you would like to review our assumptions, get in touch — we will share how we calculated them.
